For me it JA - I not only like historically oriented movies but was praying hard ARR wud outshine the music in previously made historic movies.

There was so much excitement and buzz before the soundtrack came out and I remember just being glued to the computer at that time day and night. Other intense anticipatory periods for me were for Tehzeeb, Zubeidaa, Mangal Pandey, Swades, Jodha Akbar (AS YOU ALL KNOW), Water, Meenaxi. Back in the 1990s, I was not as big of a fan of ARR as I am now, though I remember being extremely excited for Taal and Alai Payuthey.
