I beg to differ Rawat... there are many instances where hearing for the 1st
time song catches attention or liked very much..its not true which we like
at immediate hearing will not be evrlasting:

for example: (to me)

Chirewalia (TLOBS)
Mahibe (TLOBS)
Mehendi (Zubeida)
Tanha rahi (Bose)
Kahin agg lage (Taal)
Aay Ajnabi (Dil se)
Tauba tauba (Jeans)
paree panchi (Hindustani)
All the Kandekundein songs

And lot more...I loved these on the 1st instance...and they are
everlasting songs... don't be worried if someone is liking Rahman songs on
1st hearing...

PS: since last 4-5 years I am not worried if someone not liking rahman's
songs on 1st hearing also... in society we have children, young men, old
fellows and matured/non matured guys... to me a huge part of them can be
categoriesd to children/non matured...
