Hi!

Manmohini is based on raag "Bheempalas", whose carnatic equivalent is "Abheri".

ARR's own Bheempalas/Abheri compositions include:

1. Kannodu - Jeans - Abheri
2. Kismat se tum - Pukaar (one of the beautiful Bheempalas compsotions in Hindi
film music)
3. Radha Kaise Na Jale - beautiful indeed, Bheempalas.
4. Lucky Lucky - Rakshagan - Abheri
5. Shabba Shabba - Abheri (this is one freaky abheri, i could figure it out
initially, till i looked at the interludes)
6. Kelamal - ATM (i am not sure abt whole song but the opening tune,"Ketka
rasika paada unrai..." is abheri for sure..)

There could be more, but i remembered only these now..

Regards
Kamal Aakarsh Vishnubhotla.

Manmohini is my new ringtone... And, yes i was amazed to hear Vijay
Prakash voice like HAriharan... Im addicted to this track... and whats
worst is that it ends when its getting better... wish there was a part
2... :-(

VERY VERY Good music.... Taal is the past, Yuvvraaj, the future.
