Bhargavi has sung the following songs for ARR. ( may be more..) 1. New York Nagaram – Backing Vocals 2. Pappu Cant Dance Sala 3. Baazi Laaga Q :- When did you start singing ? B :- I must be very young. I must be in the age of four. I started singing for the army parties. I come from an army background. We were four sisters, and all four of us used to sing. I was the only one who took it professionally. My mother was very keen, and she made me learn Carnatic and Western. My longest guru was Mrs. Chitra Nagarajan. I was learning Western Classicals from Mr. Augustine. Actually, I am from Hyderabad . But most of the time, I am in Chennai also. In 2005, the band was formed. There were totally 24 finalists. We all had come to Chennai, for a week workshop. We met all singers, and had a rigourous schedule. We had to dance for a particular song at the end of the training, and all 24 contestants had to prepare a song of our own. I am basically a Tamilian and half Andhraite. I started my singing from 2006. I otherwise started my career in Telugu. First Tamil Song was for New York Nagaram. Backing vocals. It is such a beautiful and well composed song, and the way Sir has sung it with so much of emotions. The way, the song starts, gives me goosebumps. The beginning of the song is the speciality there . *Experience singing with Rahman * I was having butterflies in my stomach. I was pinching my self, to see, if I was standing in front of Sir. I still remember, it was late in the night. I was sweating, and Sir made me feel comfortable. He told me, " You can take a break; Have a glass of water; Be in the AC". I get super enthu, once I enter his studio now, and once I hear the tune and the sound. My next song was Baazi Laaga from Guru. Very catchy song. Fav Rahman songs Kandukondein Kandukondein – Enna Solal Pogirai …. Superb Track. I have been to his concert, and I had tears, when I heard the song. In telugu, I had debutted with Ravi Patnaik for the movie Santosham ( Nagarjuna, Shreya ) . Have sung more than 50 to 60 Telugu songs.. -- regards, Vithur ARR in my Heart; His Music in my Blood;
