Rahman does so many experiments, its hard to understand whats going on
when you hear first couple of times. You basically HAVE to listen to
repeating and then they grown on you.

I do listen to other music director's work as well. I noticed very
similar trend with Vishal Bharadwaj (in Omkara) but his previous work
(U Me Aur Hum) didnt grow on me at all.

With vishal shekhar its contrast, you like the songs when you listen
to them first few times, but if u put them in repeat mode, u get fed
up of them. It happened exactly the same way with Vishal shekhar's
"Dostana" which released about 3 weeks before. I kinda liked the music
and found it to be above avg when i heard few times. After 5 hearings,
i could not go back to it. Preferred to listen to Jodhaa Akbar songs.
and now with Yuvvraaj songs out, I dont see if I will be listening to
Dostana songs any soon.

SEL - I think they are second best in music industry after Rahman sir.
>From time to time I have been liking their work, but from a year or
so, they havnt given anything to which I got addicted. In short, they
havent been consistent IMHO.
