I, from my part, was amazed by the bass in 'Kadhal Rojave' in Roja. This song was my declic for rahman's music. I knew from this moment on that I was shifting from the hiphop, dance, pop, commercial music i used to listen from the west to finally have an idol from my origins. Since then my musical appetite has always been satisfied thanks to the King of Music.
'Kadhal Rojave' had such a hook on me that I played it in the wedding of a friend and people at that time were shocked to hear a tamil music being played in a wedding reception. And as no one were dancing on it, I asked my cousin to dance with me and my family thought I was in love with a girl called 'Roja' and by pure hazard, she was absent in this ceremony. LOL Well thats my declic with rahman.
