Picturization had helped many an albums in the past and turned the chart toppings. In 80s, Madhuri Dixit/ Anil Kapoor's film Beta (Anand Millind)'s Koyal Si Teri Boli was ruling the charts but when the movie got released, the sensuous picturization of Dhak Dhak Karne Laga moved to the top and removed Koyal. In 90s, Madhuri Dixit/ Sanjay Kapoor's film Raja (Nadeem Shravan)'s Nazrein Mili Dil Dhadka was a hit but when the movie got released, the naughty, mischievous picturization of Ankhiyaan Milaaoon Kabhi moved to the top and removed Love you raja. Of course, picturization can help and anything can happen. But, there is a catch. Ghai is still holding his musical sensitivities, but his directorial capabilities have taken a down slide. His films are not doing well, and he has lost the grip on public's pulse. His latest many movies are outright shabbiliy made. Even taal was badly made movie. Other than Anil Kapoor's new type of practical, pragramtic, wordly-wise characterization, there was nothing new in Taal that one can notice and remember (of course, Aish's beauty and ARR's music were there). The scene where Akshay's dad insults Aish and her father and the way Akshay reacts was outright sickening. Pardes's climax of Mahima running away, and then showing the guy's love bites to the elders was sickening. Yaadein's climax of that shareholders' meeting showing cards to jury the fate of love of the duo was unrealistic. So, I am not expecting much, visually, from Subhash Ghai this time also. In any case, this album has its own perfect foundation and it would bring viewers to the theatres, exactly what happened in Taal, even the movie is badly done. > > 6)Ghai rightly quoted "Taal - Best Musical Ever" from rahman.
