In music award functions, I feel there should be a separate award called "melody of the year". Highlight the most beautifully melodic song of the year. For this year thus far, here are my nominations and of course, they're all from ARR. There may have been more popular albums, better sales, etc, but nobody has come close to the classy melodies that ARR has dished out this year.
1) Khwaja Mere Khwaja 2) Zindagi 3) Hawa Sun Hawa 4) Jashne Bahar 5) Meherbaan 6) Man Mohanna 7) Kahin To 8) Tu Muskura 9) Milo Wahan 10) Jaane Tu Meri Kya Hai (male) My pick? Zindagi by Shrinivas is my song for melody of the year. Second runner is Jashne Bahar followed by Khwaja. You just cannot find melodies as classy and as beautiful as the ones above in any other album this year, alhhough there have been many good non ARR "songs" per se.
