Those of you who have been frequently visiting this blog would have read my post on *Dinesh Ghate*<http://jocalling.blogspot.com/2008/07/give-them-their-due.html>, the man who is on a mission to honor the musicians ignored in the film music industry of India. Dinesh runs a magazine that celebrates the musicians who worked in the popular songs whom we never knew about. I had a chance to have an email interview with Dinesh (*thanks to Pradeep<http://pradx.wordpress.com/2008/07/21/a-music-paper-in-mumbai/>for his help with this *) and here it is.
Q] *A R Rahman (and perhaps it is only him) has been giving credits to instrumental artists right from the beginning of his career. Do you think the other composers would follow suit?* A R Rahman is an exceptional case. http://www.jocalling.com/2008/11/dinesh-ghate-speaks/ -- regards, Vithur
