*Pete Lockette
*"Indian rhythm is the Holy Grail of percussion," says the UK-based
percussionist Pete, who has worked with several Indian artists including
Nitin Sawhney and AR Rahman and is keen on playing more and more in India.

"My main focus is working with Indian musicians in India," says Pete,
remembering his first visit to India in 2000, when performed at the
commutative alongside Zakir Hussain and Ustad Allah Rakha Khan.

*Most recently he worked with AR Rahman on Shivaji *and with Ghosh on Little
Zizu. "I would like to hear more traditional drums and some of the beat
techniques in popular Bollywood music. I would also love to hear acoustic
percussion, tribal drums and traditional drumming sounds in Bollywood
music," he says.
