Yes..It was Yodha. I didnt know it was even done by A R rahman. but I saw the movie in theater when its released i didnt know about Rahman much back in 93(its ok right :)].
it was instantly something I liked and immediately went and brought the tape. I loved the Malarambam by Jesudas, and the opening song where MOhanlal and Jagathy have a fight which sounds something similar to the Jiya Jale malayalam bit sung by MG Sreekumar in Dil Se. Starting Thiruda Thiruda I never missed any Rahman music listening before seeing the movie. I think you will love it watching the music in screen first time better than the first hearing reason being you wont have much expectations..as simple as that!!! I believe in the songs picturised in the movies elevate the quality of music by Visuals and emotions by actors.
