ya me too really miss those brilliant instrumentals/theme pieces. I think besides Bombay, Lagaan, Rangeela etc theme musics, ARR's best ever theme pieces were of Earth 1947, the Piano theme and the Theme music. somehow after Lagaan heis ignoring producing such theme pieces, may be because now he has too much work compared to old days.
