Q : - What are the Rahman Songs that you like ? Ans :- A lot of songs, and one can keep talking about it for ever. When Bombay Dreams was released, I was in London. I have travelled a lot many foreign countries, and I feel that no Tamilian has reached heights as Rahman has achieved. Everyone knows who A.R.Rahman is. These sort of phenomenal success has never been achieved by any one else. During Bombay Dreams release, if you get to go to any Restaurant ( even European restaurants) , you can hear " Ooh La La La". That experience would give us goose bumps. Even in the platforms, they would be selling those CDs,. Within a wink of the eye, the CDs would also get sold out. This is a very big achievement, and as far as I know, no other Music Director has achieved this feat. Q :- What do you think of Rahman as a musician ? Ans :- He is a great Musician and a renowned Music Director. There is no second opinion in this. Not only me. Anyone for that matter will accept this truth. He does superb melody, and also a different style of Western Music. I was able to enjoy the music, which came before my birth, for Viswanathan Ramamoorthy. Similarly, my son lokes Rahman Music a lot. He likes the songs, which had come before his birth. I feel, its only he who has created such magic. Most Favourite song – Kurukku Sirthavale Ale Ale – BOYS Both are of different styles. -- regards, Vithur
