Well I have had somewhat of a life altering weekend in a way.

First I got a job offer on Friday in the Aerospace sector in the US without
a green
card after having struggled for a good 6 months looking for jobs since
completing
my MS in Aerospace.

Second, I watched Slumdog Millionaire in a theater here in Atlanta on
Saturday and it was
packed with not a seat vacant. I am a movie freak and I have never ever
heard an applause
from an audience at the end of a motion picture in a movie hall. The
audience demography
was probably 85% americans. As if this was not enough, I moved to the first
row of seats
and waited till the reel finished watching all the credits hoping to see ARR
on screen as per
what I have read and although that didn't happen, two american couples came
upto me, one
elderly and one young asking me if I liked the movie. I said I am spellbound
and they said
you know this is by far the best movie we have watched in a long time. I had
goosebumps
as if I am responsible for the success of the movie and couldn't believe
this was happening.

Glory to ARR, I hope he recovers soon from the tragic loss of his trusted
lieutenant Shridhar.
