Dear All, I am glad that I was been a part of a special Memorial Function on Mr. H.Sridhar which was organised by RealImage , a Media Company, where Mr. H. sridhar was associated with, today in Chennai . AR was present on the occasion, along with his wife and could hear him speaking a few words about Sridhar.
Some excerpts from AR 's speech " I am very sad to attend a memorial function like this for Sridhar. Death is inevitable. Some people die as good human beings, and some die termed as bad beings. I was born with sisters, and didnt have any brothers in my family. Sridhar was more than a brother to me. I am happy to see his kids develop well, and have a music influence in them. Sridhar's family is my family. I had been recently to Los Angeles, for promoting my movie Slumdog Millionaire. The MD of Fox Movies met me, and was discussing to me about a string portion in one of my songs, which he told he liked more than the Song portion, and was highlighting on Sridhar a lot. The Function had other media people like Dir Rajeev menon, and had banners of what people had to say about Mr. Sridhar. I could also observe one of our members Bergin Roy 's message about Sridhar in one of the banners. One lady who spoke abt Sridhar couldnt control herself, and broke down and was saying, as to how Sridhar used to thank everyone after the mixing is done by sending SMS to all his assistants, all the time. The text of the message would be " Thanks a tonne, Thanks" ... At one instance, Sridhar was telling his assistants, that the heroine was looking sexy and she needed a very sexy music to be attached with her, for a particular scene. My heart was very heavy after reading what everyone had to say about Mr. Sridhar. There were a full visual show on Mr. Sridhar at the end, and pictures of him right from his childhood were displayed there. Thanks . -- regards, Vithur
