Its very difficult to comment on Ghajini keeping in mind Momento. It looks like injustice to judge Ghajini with keeping in mind Momento. So leaving that thing aside, I want to review Ghajini.
Ghajini has exceptional soundtracks.. Ae Bachchoo is magnetic for its western style of singing and of course glamorious outfit of Asin. Its music is rocking. Guzarish reminds Shahrukh/Kajol and Akshay/Katrina pairs is same kind of scenes and backgrounds. Sonu Nigam sings wonderfully. Behka track is exceptional with a knowledge that its sung by Karthik who is new bollywood entry from south industry. He is good in the song because the lyrics in not linear and monotonous. Kaise Mujhe is sympathetic masterpiece, lyrics is wonderful as well the music. I tried singing it, and its not easy like a lullaby. A R Rehman rocks. Look at this guy, he gave exceptional music in Yuvraj and he came back with blistering music in Ghajini. Ghajini has both the sides of the coin, a succesfull enterprenure which connects it to lots of hi standard mass, Asin is a middle class simple girl, which connects it to lots of middle class mass, there is a love story, so it connects to hell lot of youngsters, there is a kind of passion for love (after loosing love) which is a very common fantasy of age group 22-30, there is a solid body of Aamir which connects it to wannabe-body builders group, so all in all it connects huge mass. The outfit of Aamir in Behka track is so much fresh and colorfull, its strikingly wonderful. The outfit of Asin in Aey Bachcho is glamorous and bold.. truly... glassy beauty captured in the song. The biggest attraction, Aamirs body, is rock solid. Shahrukh in Om Shanti Om, has a superfluous body when I compare it with Aamir's body in Ghajini, there is no comparision, Aamir wins by a light year (large margin). The theme of the movie ( borrowed from Momento Mori)... is a bit of disappointment, because it makes the movie a kind of "analyse this" stuff. But Ghajini is linear and lucid for its fewer flashbacks, otherwise the movie is exceptional. Who says Aamir is not suitable for this kind of role... I am one of the Janata at the lower stack.. and I approve its a humongous success.... Ghajini needs no critics, and its little bit obvious.... Watch out... Its Aamir Khan there! Now moving on to the movies http://connoistre.blogspot.com/2008/12/ghajini-absolute-review.html -- regards, Vithur
