Rahman was the music director for the mega runaway hit "Slumdog Millionaire." His contribution made a heart warming soundtrack for the film. His work really brought out the emotions of the characters and well, as they say, the rest is history. He received a lot of press and added a Satellite Award to his Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score for his music in British director Danny Boyle's uplifting underdog tale.
