Abt the second part (inviting ARR for a function) - I'm not sure if it happened 10 years after he left school... but, one such event happened in 2001/02! He was invited for a small event that happened in PSBB primary school play-ground in Thirumalai Pillai Road.... It was a very small gathering there, hardly anyone knew AR was gonna be there!! In that event, AR talked a bit about his school days and how he was very irregular to school!! Later in the event, the school correspondent showered loads of praise on AR! :D :D :D I was there!!
