And this is from the hard core fans desire...... ....

What should Rahman's be doing next from a composition standpoint.. ...??

Guys - go ahead list your preference - I've heard/read/know:

1. Pure un-adultered hindustani classical
2. Pure un-adultered carnatic classical
3. Pure un-adultered western classical
4. Hard Rock
5. Metal
6. Symphony  [my personal fav - and that too Indian style!]
8. Innovate the use of musical instruments - for e.g. the way Ustad Zakhir
Hussain is capable of creating melody sounds (similar to voilin or flute) on
the tabla.
9. Underground genre [not sure if I got this right]
10. Still love to get him explore and do a pure Indian folk album
11. Raw Afro music [Gumboots style]
12. An album only with harmonies [like many I already consider him the guru of
harmony]

Anything else.....guys? Please add.. maybe he'll read this....

ciao / Gopal
