I saw those awards on the television last night and Anil Kapoor made
such an ass of himself as to embarrass the whole audience. He was on
stage accompanied by the stars Dev Patel and Frieda Pinto but
everything was about him, Anil the star, the focus of the film. He has,
as you may know, only a supporting role and a fairly unchallenging role
at that... he reads the questions on the TV show.

But for the screen actors award for the whole ensemble of actors in the
entire film, he was the grateful one and Dev Patel was not permitted to
speak a single word. After Kapoor's self-congratulation went on and on
finally Frieda Pinto broke in to give thanks by name to the child
actors who were dominant in the first half of the film. I've also found
on the web various sites referring to the film as one "starring" Anil
Kapoor.

I would not be surprised to see ARR win the Oscar but, before he could
get to the stage, Anil Kapoor will have raced to the microphone
expressing his happiness and gratitude for his musical victory.
