My question is same. What can an individual do to stop piracy? Report pirates to whom?
Also I always wondered what kind of piracy is more bad or are equally the same - downloading from net or fake CDs. Because I do listen/download from internet as CDs take about a week to come at my place. Obviously me being fan is gonna buy CDs when they get to stores here, but I am not sure if other people do the same. So perhaps music companies need to take the initiative. Try to catch people who promote piracy and make CDs available at each place at same time (or within a day or so). What if we e-mail music companies urls of websites (specially torrent sites) who leak and rip CDs first day the CDs come in market. Would that help? --- In [email protected], Vithur <vith...@...> wrote: > > What can we do ??. > > The best thing is to have count as to how many members here buy CDs and hear > music. lol > > > > > On Tue, Jan 27, 2009 at 6:19 AM, Mirza G.
