Chord, I can not answer this qn - because as I keep listening over the years, my fav. song in each album has changed. for eg, when Jaane Tu came out, it was Aditi.. but now I'm mesmerised by Kahin To.. esp the vasundhra das bit. & when ADA came out, it was Meherbaan. now it is Ishq Ada Hai (male version).
I think its the magic of Rahman.. & I guess each person's time-period for liking/understanding a song varies.
