NEW YORK, NY – Saavn, the world's largest digital distributor of Bollywood
music and movies, has released "Masters of Bollywood: A R Rahman," a music
album showcasing Rahman's 20 best songs, including a track from his latest
work in Delhi 6, which hits theaters in February.

The new album, Saavn officials said, is aimed at a growing consumer demand
for music from the award-winning composer of  "Slumdog Millionaire." It's
available for download on leading online music download services.

"We are committed to providing a gateway to Bollywood music for people
around the world, and we are particularly proud and excited for the
recognition of A.R. Rahman's work on Slumdog Millionaire," said Vin Bhat,
Chief Executive Officer of the New York-based Saavn. "We made this album
because we wanted to introduce his new fans to more of his award-winning
work."

The album's highlights include, "Masakali" from Delhi 6, his latest work, as
well as "Guzarish" from Ghajini, "Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi" from Jaane
Akbar – all among the top 5 Bollywood albums of 2008. The album also
includes classic tracks from celebrated albums like Saathiya and 1947 Earth.

The album is available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, eMusic,
Zune, Puretracks, Napster, and Last.fm.

Rahman is among the best-selling musicians of all time, with estimated sales
topping 100 million records. He shot to fame in 1992 with Roja, earning
Rahman his first three National Film Awards, considered the equivalent of
the Oscars in India. Rahman is best known for incorporating a wide range of
musical influences – from pop to electronica – into Bollywood film scores,
redefining contemporary Indian music.
