Ghajini BGMs were good and they were very much by ARR. When he can compose, songs sitting in LOndon, Australia, why not compose BGMs sitting from somewhere.
Its after all the notes, the way the tunes are fused, and the way in which he brings about some new tunes, new music. and for the creative AR, place is not at all a concern.
