Singers ushered in by ARR The list is endless. There is a whole lot of thankful singers who are what they are today because of A.R. Rahman. Right from his first film, Rahman has wielded his magical tunes with equally mesmerising singing. Right from his first film 'Roja' ARR has introduced new talents. To begin with the first song in the film 'Chinna chinna asai ' had Minmini crooning to the tunes of Rahman.
In the same film ARR introduced Sujatha who sang 'Pudhu vellai mazhai' and then there was no looking back. Rahman was responsible to give a total makeover to Indian film music. Not deviating from the technical aspect of singing Rahman has come out with mind blowing performances from the word go. Vasundara Das' electrifying voice caught the attention of the music wizard when she was introduced to him by Pravin Mani a Canada-based music producer. Then came Srinivas who could handle classical as well as melodious songs with ease. Unni Menon, Unni Krishnan, Harini, Tippu, Malgudi Subha, Chinmayi and Naresh Iyer to mention a few. All these singers' real talent was unearthed by the maestro. The best part is that ARR captures the distinct feature of each singer and highlight's it so beautifully well. The only drawback if at all it could be called so is that the singers will have to render songs at the middle of the night. He is one musician who synchronizes music and technology to produce a musical masterpiece every time.
