To be honest, I was worried about the movie after reading the reviews
as I didnt want another superb effort of Rahman to go in vain.

Movie is not as bad a 'critics' are portraying on public. Critics are
stupid, they trash movie in their reviews and when they review some
other movie, they praise the same movie they had trashed and compare
its success with others. 'Luck by Chance' got extremely good review,
but flopped (Personally havnt seen it). That tells that movie's fate
depends on public, critic's words dont have much importance. Ok,
enough critic criticism, about movie -

Is it first Indian movie without any interval? Well, for sure first
that I have seen. I stayed well connected with the movie at all the
points, and at the end thought that Raykesh was right, there was
absolutely no need for interval.

No use of talking about plot, as you all know. There are 20-30
characters in the movie, everyone did fantastic job. Contrary to what
reviews said that there are too many stories, too many characters, I
found all of them to be well connected with the story.

Abhi's performance definitely not his best, but one of better ones for
sure. To my surprise, Sonam didnt have that big of role. Her focus was
more on Indian Idol, girl who wants to fly just like Masakali. The
focus is not just on love story, main focus is 'Kaala bandar.' True
story (as monkey man problem had occurred in Delhi in 2001) but only
Raykesh could have had the guts to make movie on this issue. Delhi -
the city & the society is shown beautifully.
Loved the idea that Ramayan also goes along as the movie progresses.
If you didnt like India portrayed in Slumdog Miilionaire, must watch
this movie, as you will love it!!

Music I wont even dare to comment, as words cant really describe it.
Definitely one of Rahman's best work ever. Background score is equally
good. Although not much of different instrument I could notice. 'Rehna
Tu' instrument is played at a lot of instances. Perhaps my
expectations from BGM were too high, as there are Hindu-Muslim riots,
I was expecting something along with lines of 'Bombay Theme'

Rahna Tu was picturized on Rishi & Abhi, but I couldnt really get how
those lyrics 'Mujhe Teri Lapat Mein Jalna Rakh Ho Jana Hai' fit in
there, I thought it was for Abhi/Sonam. Well...
Dil Gira (as we hadnt seen in promos) was beautifully picturized.
Arziyan cinematography was amazing.

The ONLY complain I have is with ending of the movie. Amitabh's
appearance was not needed, his role is kinda useless. A person dies
and then comes back to life after you light torch in his eyes..
strange. So yea, just last 5-6 mintues, makes you think Hmmmm..

Once again, Raykesh thinks 'out of the box'
Must watch not only for music, but also for amazing Indian cinema
experience.
