Thinking about it, I think the best point of these Oscars is that they came after a year when we had so many of his albums, in Hindi, in Tamil, Singles, non-filmi, with all sorts of varied music including full length instrumental in Connections.
So, we were fully fed, we are satisfied though never satiated. And then the Oscars were the proverbial icing on the cake. I mean if the Oscars had come in a year of just one or two albums, we members would have grumbled that he is paying more attention to international awards so not giving us enough music, etc., etc. -- Rawat
