While A R Rahman brought glory to India, we shouldn't forget Bharat Ratna is given for contribution to Indian music, may we remember that Pandit Bhimsen Joshi has been given BR this year when he is post 80 yrs old and his contribution to Indian Classical music is enormous. For that matter Abhinav Bindra the first person to get us gold in Olympics also didn't get Bharat Ratna this year and won't get in future either. I think we should wait for some years.
