AR today told in an interview to Headlines Today that you can expect a big collaboration in 2 months apart from couple of Hollywood Offers. When asked when can we get a chance to hear tamil songs like Sangamam, he said, mani's movie (Ravan, I suppose) will have some good songs. Infact, he said, he, Mr.Vairamuthu and Mani are back and in great form! When asked if he will also get Grammy for India, he questioned "What, you want me to be an ambassador to get all these awards? You got to work naturally and these things will come automatically. I'm happy that Zakir Hussain has won Grammy".
He also said, "if some one tells that SDM is a mediocre work to get an oscar, it's childish. You can't say he didn't use this raag in this song whereas the other song should have got oscar. The songs in SDM went well with the script. The best is always yet to come". When asked if he will completely shift to Hollywood, he said, "Place is not important. I think you guys also follow the hollywood movies and I would love you to hear my stuff in hollywood movies as well. But, I can't just abandon this place. You all were loving me so much and I can't leave this place after working for almost 18 years". I'm writing this as I remember.
