Sukhwinder Singh is on a high these days, what with his song *Jai Ho* winning the Oscar. The singer-composer is flooded with phone calls congratulating him, and is jostling for dates for the media. He is also being offered new shows on TV and stage.
My birdie also informs that Filmfare has requested Sukhwinder to perform at their award ceremony, to be held at Yash Raj Studios coming Saturday. But the singer is apparently in two minds – now, there are two reasons for it. One, he already has a date with AR Rahman in Chennai on Saturday (he hasn't met him after the Oscars). And two, Sukhi is kind of miffed that Filmfare invites him every time but fails to even nominate his hit songs, leave alone giving him an award. Last year, the singer had to cancel his well-planned concert for the awards, and his title track from *Chak De!* India wasn't even nominated!
