First of all Shekhar is a Sanskrit word

Shekhar literally means "peak" but contextually it is part of the name
"Chandra - Shekhar" which refers to Lord shiva who has the crescent moon

It is kind of like poetry interpretation. You have to look beyond the
literal meaning of the word and that was what happened here
