With deep respects to the spirit of originality and the great soundtrack of
Delhi 6 by our Rahman....
Call it a stroke of inspiration or just plain desperation, i had to
complete a very tough track which i set out to mix few weeks ago. Its
called 'Rehna Tu, from the OST of Delhi 6. A classic love song sung by
Rahman. The track is amazing in its mood and rhythm. It is unlike anything
Rahman has composed before, except may be for the song on Takshak.
This track tempted me to try a mix for a new mood. I introduced a
rather pop skewed reggae groove to this brilliant sound track and
placed a brand new interlude with solo spanish guitar samples.
Something i have been struggling to program since the last 10 days or
so. Just a humble way to challenge myself to his tracks...
