In any case, RGV makes quickies. They are not at all like Indian movies, they are more like james Hadley Chase Thrillers - and if that was not bad enough, he has degraded to horror. ARR's type of music is just not suitable for his movies. ARR's music needs timeless scripts, universal perspective. ARR shouldn't have done even Daud, though he did give good songs in that. Rangeela was indeed well made, like an Indian movie. Thinking about the treatment of ARR's songs, i am surprised that I am finding RGV quite good in Rangeela -- both Asha nums were divinely shot. Mangta Hai kya choreography was also great. I would place Rangeela's song treatment in the genre of Mani and Shankar, and that is saying something. His earlier ones, Company, Satya, etc. a few were good movies. Satya's music was also good. In between I had liked one Aftab Shivdasani movie also in which he becomes a woman, that was quite humorous, otherwise he is mostly a disaster. I didn't like Sarkar at all, and didn't bother to see Sarkar II. His Sholey proved that he is mentally bankrupt now. > Considering RGV's latest movies...it may be for the best.. I have just stopped seeing RGV and Mahesh Bhatt movies. -- Rawat
