The Translation is as follows

" Whoseover composed for Malayalam Movie, it was Sekhar who used to conduct
the recording. He was Dhanraj Master's disciple, or rather he could be known
if it was said that he was A.R.Rahman's father. For all Music Directors, it
was Sekhar who did the BGM. With Devaraj Master, he would conduct.

For the movies in which he used to do the BGM alone, he used to stop at some
places and tell me to play in those instances. For others, he woudl dictate
the notes, and I used to wonder as to why he is just asking me to play !!? (
I used to wonder as to why he is giving me that independence) . I came to
know that it was because, I was a disciple of Dhanraj Master.
If any instrumentalists, wanted to change or modify any guitar notes, and if
they approached me, he woudl say , " Everything is fine and it would become
Ok during the take of the recording, and there is nothing to change". Thus
saying, he would not allow anyone come near me. He had so much of faith in
me.

None of the movies which he composed independently was a hit. But he never
bothered or worried about the same. With his Grace, I have the complete
faith that Rahman would win accoladaes, and become big and grand.

Rahman joined Illayaraja 's troupe at the age of 11 years, and is a world
renowned musician, and IR speaks about how he joined with him.

" When I was composing Music for the Movie " Moodupani", I found out that
the keyboard player had come for the recording heavily drunk. I sent him out
immediately, and wanted someone to play the keyboard.

At that moment , one of the crew member told me that he knew some young boy
who could play well, and if he could bring him for the recording. Then I
said, " Oh what a question, you are asking. !!! Bring him immediately". They
brought the kid in the next 30 minutes, and i gave him the notes to play.
When he finding it little tough to play, I helped him myself by placing his
fingers on the keyboard. That small boy understood it well and played it
then. That boy was Dileep, later came into the world as A.R.Rahman.
