Wow.. It was great function. Thanks to SA Rajkumar and other officials from the cine music artist union.
When S Janaki spoke about ARR's father Mr. Sekhar, camera panned to ARR and we all can clearly see that ARR wiping his tears of his eyes.. I couldn't control my tears too. I felt very heavy at my heart as if something like a ball got struck at my throat.I know for sure that will be the case for each and everyone who watched the telecast. Everyone heaped praises on ARR.... IR speech was good, but it was too confusing and i had a feeling that he was not open about a lot of things (same like Kamal). He mentioned that "what awards will do without composers?" What does he really mean by that? I felt that he talked more about Balamuralikrishna than ARR.... But overall it was an excellent function. I want to abide by those words of ARR "Don't abuse anyone". So i rest my case here. Thanks Sath Murthy. ________________________________ From: Chord <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, March 8, 2009 4:39:52 PM Subject: [arr] Re: ARR got emotional during the felicitation by Cine Music Union Very touching and heartfelt!
