Hi, I read this very interesting incident in the latest issue Kumudam magazine, which came out today! This is from actress Meera Jasmine's interview.
Meera talks about her experience in Australia, where she went for the shooting of a Vijaykanth's movie directed by Vikraman. "On the way to Sydney from Canberra, we saw noticed a bungalow inside a forest. Vikraman suggested that we could shoot there. When Vikraman asked the bungalow owner for permission, the owner demanded lots of money. Vikraman tried to convince him, by talking about the movie, about us, where we are from, etc... When we told him that we're from Tamilnadu, the owner's face brightened up! 'Oh.. are you from AR Rahman's town?' and he hugged vikraman. 'You dont even have to pay me to shoot here. You are from the land of composer of Slumdog! It wont be right to demand rent from you!" I was soooo excited to read this!!! Not just fame, but the love for him too is spreading all over the world!!!
