After winning the acting world’s most important award, the Oscar, an actor
can expect many offers to be pouring in and for some actors they are.

Sean Penn is expected to play a supporting role in a dramatic film written
and directed byTerrence Malick entitled* Tree of Life*,  according to
Variety. Penn who won the Lead Actor Oscar for *Milk, *will costar with Brad
Pitt.

A.R. Rahman won two Academy
Awards<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_Award> and
many other awards this year for the *Slumdog Millionaire*
soundtrack<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slumdog_Millionaire_(soundtrack)>,
for which he did the original score. He became the first Indian to win two
Academy Awards. He isplanning on releasing music on his own label in the
future, but for now the rest of 2009 is going to be a big year as Rahman is
working on a lot of movie soundtracks, according to Billboard.com.


DC native, Taraji P. Henson may not have won an Oscar for Best Supporting
Actress, but she did win another film role. The Academy Award nominee (for *The
Curious Case of Benjamin Button*) will star in Tyler Perry’s next stage to
big screen film, *I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF*. It had been reported that
Perry would release *Madea’s Class
Reunion<http://www.examiner.com/x-3950-DC-Movies-Examiner~y2009m2d22-Jails-a-big-hit>
*, but he has decided on this film instead. The film is expected to be
released nationwide on September 11, 2009 and Perry's signature character,
Madea, will be featured in the film.
