honoured music maestro AR Rahman with the B4U Music outstanding achievement
award.

Rahman's recent successes includes the Oscar and BAFTA Awards for his music
in Slumdog Millionaire.

Located at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre the event
featured a variety of performances and awards.

B4U Music VJ Salil presented the ceremony alongside Karen David. The event
included performances by Bishi, H. Dhami, Juggy D, Mumzy, Tasha Tah,
Veronica, Jas Dhami, Chunni and Mona Singh, Des-C, D Boy, Sef, Shayal and
American Superstars Jagged Edge.

Amongst the winners was Jay Sean who received the award for best male act
and the best urban act.

M.I.A, who recently gained fame for her track Paper Planes, won the award
for best female act. Rishi Rich walked away with the award for best producer
and commitment to the scene, and Bobby Friction won the award for best radio
host. Other winners included Gurdaas Maan, H Dhami and Jazzy B.

The event will to be broadcast worldwide on B4U Music.
