What a refreshingly different and unique soundtrack by ARR. Dacoit Duel, Blue
Light, Escape, Miracle of the Monk, and the only beautiful full song sung in 3
different languages - Chinese, Hindi, English. Remains a cherished piece from
ARR for me and I do revisit this score often. Really demonstrates the pure
versatility and genius of ARR to be able to score such intricate music for a
Chinese flim, capturing the essence of many aspects of Chinese film culture.
So much variety in the score with such a wide range of ethnic instruments,
percussion, symphonic scores. Wish this score could have gotten more
recognition than it did.
