In those times, there were none who didnt know about Rajagopal Bagavathar or not to have heard about him atleast. For him, in the year 1933 was born his son R. Gunashekhar. For some period of time, Gunasekhar was employed with Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, and as an effect and influence of hearing the musical discourses and sessions of his father, he started learning and got influenced in music.
