I attend this Ability Award function. It happend in chennai March 2007. Cheif guest -- Karunanithi ,?ARR,Nagesh Kuknoor, Revathi, Kanimozhi.... in this function ARR played a unplugged version Alive (Provoked) sung by physically challanged women ( ARR told she prepared this song in one night...) Rashid ali and ARR? gave musical treat . Naresh iyer and Blazze and his family wr there on that ocassion . i got the chance 2 meet rashid,naresh and blazee during dinner time .But ARR was not there at that time .only 300 to 400 ppl wr? there during the function. I still remember ARR was wearing white Suit. I know that he too is doing his bit for the foundation. Overall, the organisation is pretty big in Chennai and is gaining momentum at many places. We are only championing their cause so that their word gets spread. I remember there was a concert last year and Rahman was the star attraction. Obviously with big star presence, the funds too come in fast which helps these bodies to help people who really need aid."
