Dear Rahman Sir,
I can understand the pain you have gone thru very
well as I have been in a similar situation maybe a little older than you (@ 16)
when I used to see my mother suffer from cancer. Every visit to the hospital
was a nightmare ....often not wanting to hear that the disease was spreading
fast. God was/and is still my solace when I was helplessly seeing my mother's
life ebb away.

God be with you always and give you lot of happiness.

Regards

Ankita

" Today, Oscar Hero A.R.Rahman is an Hero who had crossed all barriers of
Religion, Caste, and whose name is famous to all nook and corners of the world.
With God's Grace, there is nothing which he longs for today.

But his childhood was a very painful one. In particular, when he was nine years
old, he was filled with pain and remorse. His father R.K. Shekhar became sick
and was suffering from acute stomach pain. The entire family was in a state of
stress seeing their father suffer.

His father would be suffering the entire night, and would be sleepless. We
would be sent out to play, not bearing his suffering. Many times, we all would
be weeping and crying seeing his condition. Father was taken to an hospital.
They diagonised him as cancer and the entire family was drowned in sorrow.
Rahman used to go daily to the hospital and be of service to his father, but he
was filled with pain himself.

He would pray daily to God to save his father from the pain, and at the same
time, the money that his father earned was spent for medical expenses.

My father used to do all the Re- recording Stuff. He had good name in the
Industry, and there were a lot of enemies also. "
