SASA sponsored a performance by Penn Masala <http://www.pennmasala.com/>this past weekend. Formed at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, Penn Masala is the country’s first South Asian a cappella group. In 2007, they performed at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts with A.R. Rahman<http://www.arrahman.com/v2/>, who won two Academy Awards for his work on *Slumdog Millionaire*.
