A.R. Rahman to Give Oprah Tour of India?We told you about A.R. Rahman performing at Time Magazines 100 Most Influential People of the Year with a whole host of celebrities, innovators, activists, icons and leaders. Some of the big names on the list include, First Lady Michelle Obama, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Zac Efron, Jay Leno, Tina Fey, George Clooney, Jimmy Fallon and John Legend who both performed as well as A.R. Rahman. Another guest that was in attendance is global media leader, philanthropist and day time diva, Oprah Winfery, who was seated just two seats away from A.R. Rahman!
Well it seems our music maestro has left a lasting impression on Oprah, because Miss O took to her Twitter account tonight and tweeted this: "Seated two seats away from A.R. Rahman who's agreed to give me a tour of India. I've never been." What's more exciting, Oprah visiting India for the first time, or Rahman giving her a tour?! Either way, we think it's pretty cool news, as Oprah's known all around the world and it's awesome that she wants to visit India and catch up on the rest of the world's growing obsession with the country. We just wonder if she'll visit or meet up with any Bollywood stars while she's in India! On another note, it's nice to see A.R. Rahman getting recognition on an international scale such as this and seeing him in such grand company as the First Lady of the United States and Oprah.
