" Right from his childhood, my friend Bharat Bala has been thinking of doing a patriotic album. So, we ventured into doing the same together. The Name of Bharat Bala 's father was Ganapathy , who was a Freedom Fighter. He graced us and blessed us saying that we should do some album for the betterment of the country.
He also insisted that the songs composed should be energetic and arouse inspiration amongst the youth of India. We released the album keeping in the mind the youth, and as per our desire, the album became a big hit and spread across the globe. Man shouldnt have lethargy. He should be always be energetic and strive towards the good of the society. Briskness is good for the nation as well as the society. " Vande Mataram" album has aroused the energy levels in the youth. Many of my songs had become famous amidst people. But according to me, it is this Vande Mataram album, which has satisfied me in all aspects. There are numerous Music Directors, Composers in India, and they have achieved a lot many things. Amidst everyone, I consider composing for Vandemataram as a special Blessing of God. And that too, composing Vande Mataram, producing the same and singing it myself has been a Divine Blessing for me, and I feel like this is an outcome of a severe penance .
