      Dear Ramesh

I thank you for having mentioned me as one of the esteemed members. I sincerely
hope to become one... But, I am sorry for having irked you through this mail. I
try my level best to contribute to the groups, by gathering whatever info I can
abt AR.

I never felt that this mail should irritate you. Well, if I wouldnt have
posted, somebody else would have. Ultimately, it would have come to the groups
( provided Gops allows it )

I really dont know what to post and what not to post, and fortunately I am not
the moderator here .

I leave that decision to Gopal and I know he knows the best.

Pls excuse me in future too, if I post something which may irritate you. I
would also suggest that you ignore the mails which irritate you, as this forum
is for posting and sharing info abt ARR.

Thanks for the compliment and I regret the inconvenience caused.

Articles like this are what irk me about the Indian online media, and to a
lesser extent, this group.
That there are so many gossip rags out there where a celebrity's refusal to
comment on something is considered newsworthy and makes it into a 5 sentence
'article'. Are we so bereft of news, or craved for every iota of needless
information that junk like this has an audience?

Unfortunately every junk article out there with the phrase "AR Rahman" gets
disseminated further by being posted here whether it's newsworthy or not.

Vithur, I know you're an esteemed member here. I'm aware of your excellent
contribution to this group and to the community in general.  But please! Could
you please think about what you're posting? Not every Google News search item
for "AR Rahman OR Rehman" needs to be posted here.

I know some of you folks will say that I only have to delete the mail but at
more than 50 mails a day it's plain irritating to have to read each until I
realize that it's yet another junk article.

RR

Do you think Sachin should play in Twenty20 World Cup?

Yes !

No !

Can't Say.

Pune: Avoiding controversy as always, Oscar winner AR Rahman refused to comment
on the twisted national anthem used by Ram Gopal Varma in his upcoming flick
‘Rann'.

Rahman was here to announce his live concert scheduled to take place on May 31.
He also visited MAEERs MIT Campus, Kothrud where he hoisted the ‘Jai Ho' flag
amidst a large gathering and spoke to the media about this new world tour and
the Pune concert in particular.

Speaking about the controversial ‘Rann' song, AR Rahman said, ‘I have not heard
the twisted version of national anthem so I cant speak on it. If it was done
unintentionally, I don't see a need to comment on it either.'
