Mother of makeovers for ‘Yanthram’ IndiaGlitz [Friday, May 22, 2009]
Shankar’s multi crore project ‘Yanthram’s filming is going on at a feverish pitch. Among other things the film boasts superstar Rajinikanth and ex-miss World Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. The lead lady has signed this film for a whooping six crore deal! ‘Yanthram’ is a sci-fi thriller. This film sees Aishwarya Rai donning nearly 57 different makeovers! The beauty has been filmed in an exclusive Mexican tribe’s makeover which is sure to have a jaw-dropping effect on the youth. Aish will be seen in the Mexican makeover for a song sequence. Oja Rajini is responsible for the different make over worn by Aish. Much of the filming has been under wraps, but thanks to the enthusiastic technicians who leak out some stories unknowingly. Manish Malhotra’s costumes have given a refreshing look and feel to the film; he is the man behind the costumes for the lead pair throughout the film.
