The maestro will be in the city a day prior to the event and will interact with the media before his musical show.According to the organisers, the stadium has a capacity of 30,000 seats and ticket sales are being carried out at several outlets in the city. The minimum rate is Rs 450, which would enable fans to watch the show while standing. The other tickets are priced at Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000.Even though the programme is pitched as a charity show for Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, the organisers are clearly looking at earning close to Rs 20 to 25 lakh from the show.“It will be an audio-visual spectacle. We are getting a 61/14 LED wall - which is for the first time in India. A R Rahman will be performing all the songs from his latest films.Since he has not had a show in a while, it will be a fresh experience for the audience,” said Adinath Mangeshkar at a press briefing held on Tuesday at the venue, where work is being carried out in full swing. The singers expected at the show include Hariharan, Sadhna Sargam, Benny Dayal and Rashid Ali. The organisers assure that all measures have been taken to avoid any untoward incident.
