Aligarh: Oscar winner musician AR Rahman today added one more feather in his cap as the Aligarh Muslim University today honored him with an honorary degree. Along with him eminent Urdu litterateur Prof Gopichand Narang was also honored.
On its 59 th convention, the AMU conferred honorary D.Lit degree on AR Rahman and Urdu litterateur Prof Narang. West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi graced the occasion as chief guest. As many as 43 students were given gold medal, while 160 were provided the University Medal.
