I don't think you can call it bias. Probably, many are just feeling dejected and cheated when ARR's amazing numbers are used in movies with pathetic scripts. And it doesn't help that Vijay's recent films too had monotonous and miserable scripts. But like you said, ARR might work if Vijay comes up with an interesting script so let's hope for the best.
